Architectural photography, commercial interior for Jennings Design Associates

This photograph of a boardroom table was shot for clients Jenning Design Associates, a successful architectural practice in Manchester and is in fact, their own very stylish boardroom. Is was lit with studio flash and filled in with available daylight and also with a hand flash gun hidden under the glass table to illuminate it and bring out the detail. It works by lightening up the dark floor and adds another dimension.

This image won the gold award in the Architectural Section of the 2009 North West British Institute of Professional Photography Annual Awards against some stiff competition.
