This photograph of an interior view of the Beetham Tower is an example of abstract architectural photography and was shot with hand flash guns and tripod from the top of the staircase in one of the apartments. The view through the window shows the Mersey estuary.

The shadows and reflections work well together and the walls of the stairwell were polished black marble which creates an interesting effect and creates effective abstract photography.

The phototograph was taken whilst shooting a delegation of property agents on a guided tour around Liverpool from the balcony of the apartment above.
