This photograph shows the newly landscaped school playground at Bowlee School Middleton near Manchester. The photography was commissioned by Jackson and Jackson Construction to illustrate the superb new facilities for the children.

It was photographed on a bright sunny day to bring out the detail in the building, grass and the canopy. The new play area provides a safe and spacious environment for the children to engage in all sorts of outdoor activites including sand and water play and wheeled equipment. When undertaking architectural photography of this nature, the picture is improved by including children on the photograph to 'humanise' the scene.
