Liverpool University Equine Studies Unit - Client Harry Fairclough Construction

This photograph is of the reception of the Equine Unit at the Liverpool University School of Veterinary Studies, on The Wirral. The client was Harry Fairclough Construction in Warrington and the photography was used in their promotional literature.

The photograph was lit with studio flash units and a concealed hand flash gun as well as from the daylight streaming in through the atrium windows, which caused problems with 'hot spots' from bright sunlight. The bright orange colour was very dominant and warmed up the colour tone of the image. I particularly like the curve of the reception desk which echoes the curve of the recess above the desk.
