Photograph of interior of Sedburgh School Cumbria

This photograph of Sedburgh School in Cumbria was commissioned by architects Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams to illustrate the refurbishment work they had undertaken for the school. It is a prominent and well established boarding school set up over five hundred years ago and has many interesting architectural buildings and features. The refurbishment by the architects was sympathetically designed so as not to detract from the original building work.

The photograph here shows a newly created corridor with multi-coloured lockers which caught my eye when the sun came out and created interesting shadows and highlights on the floor.
