Reception at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls Bowker Sadler Architects

This photograph of the reception and staircase of Altrincham Girls Grammar School was taken for clients Bowker Sadler Architectural Practice in Romiley Cheshire. The photography was commissioned to highlight a series of internal building improvements made to the school for the clients portfolio.

As photographer, my job was to enhance the architectural details such as the chrome handrails on the staircase and also highlight other architectural features such as the exposed brick and the glass doors.

The interior photography was shot using a lixture of studio flash units, concealed hand flash guns and also ambient and available light. The use of subtle lighting will always improve an interior photograph.
