St Elphin's School Warrington Client Conlon Construction

This photograph of St Elphin's Primary School in Warrington was taken for Conlon Construction in Rochdale and used in their promotional literature. I shot the photography on a typically changeable April day when one minute it was pouring with rain and the next minute the sun was shining brightly so all the exterior photographs shows a wet foreground! This is the misfortune of the architectural photographer - to spend the day dodging showers whilst taking outdoor photographs!

One of the other problems of photographing schools in particular, is that there are always cars parked in front of the buildings so in this case I was lucky to find a time when the sun was out and there were no cars.

I like the shape of the building and the colours photograph well together.
