Advertising photography for Exertherm Thermal monitoring

This photograph of a businessman was shot in the style of annual report corporate portaiture for QHI corporate, the company that makes Exertherm, a thermal monitoring system. The businessman looks like a dynamic chief executive photographed with corporate lighting in a traditional pose but with the added extra of having an amusing red nose for comic effect. The model was photographed leaving enough space on the right hand side to allow for the advertising copy. Several different photographic poses were tried in order to get the right effect until the model came up with the perfect expression, a combination of slight surprise with a touch of amusement.

When the most suitable image was selected, the copy was added to the side and bottom of the shot, completing the look of the advertisement.
