Interior office images of Saville House Sheffield
We were commissioned by Storer Design, a busy design agency in Sheffield, to shoot interior photography of a new office development called Saville House in Sheffield for a promotional brochure to potential letting clients. The interiors were very stylishly designed using vibrant prime colours set off against a white background to create a contemporary feel.
The reception has a funky, dynamic look with an arched red wall, echoed in the ceiling also, with archways and pillars in contrasting red and white. Although potentially a very photogenic area to photograph, there is a lot of added concealed studio lighting used in this picture, and the white pillars and contrasting walls were in danger of absorbing red light reflected from the opposite walls. To get the right creative photographic image, a mixture of ambient light, concealed flash, tungsten from the table lamps and daylight from the front window, was balanced up.
The upper floors were unfurnished and were simply photographed to give an impression of size and layout of the building
