This photograph was taken for PAI (Property Agents International) during their visit to Liverpool and whilst attending a cocktail party on one of the upper floors at The Beetham Tower in Liverpool. When undertaking any sort of PR photography, there is always a degree of 'man 'management' necessary, and a lot of shepherding people around to get into the most photogenic group.

My brief was to take a photograph of the agents whilst endeavouring to show the intersting and dynamic Liverpool Waterfront background, with such recognisable landmarks as The Liver Building in the shot for context. I decided to undertake the photography from the balcony of the above apartment in order to get a good view of the Liverpool scene below. The problem facing the PR photographer in this instance was to get the attention of thirty or more men once they had started on the wine provided, and to shout my photography instructions above the noise!
