Heywood Leisure Centre imagery featuring swimming pool, fully equipped gym and sports hall.

The newly opened Heywood Leisure Centre near Rochdale produced some good photographic imagery when we went along to shoot it recently, commissioned by clients Kier Northern. The Centre boasts a childrens pool and a new six lane 25metre swimming pool with a window into the reception area.

The view from the shallow pool looking towards the 25metre pool showing the first floor spectators gallery. Swimming pools always photograph better before they have opened in the day, as splashed water onto the sides tends to detract from the whole effect. Therefore we shot this view early in the morning before the influx of keen pool fans!

Other facilities photographed here include a well equipped gym situated on the first floor; in contrast to the swimming pool images, the gym photographs are improves by including co-operative members using the equipment!

Full conferencing facilities are available as shown in this photograph; chair and desk arrangements are always difficult to shoot unless they are perfectly arranged and symmetrical.
